Racing Formats for Your Event
Open Racing, Grand Prix, LeMans, Corporate Challenge, everyone gets involved, even spectactors!
Do you want to go to a whole new level of excitement for your corporate event? We can accommodate groups from 5 to 200 drivers. Our 1/4 mile road course is the ultimate test of your driving skills. For smaller groups, a Formula One race will get your heart pounding. For larger groups that want an intense race, a Grand Prix is the ultimate challenge. A LeMans race can bring unfamiliar colleagues together as teams, you'll find strengths in people no one knew they had.
Open Race Sessions
For large groups, you can rent the track by the hour and your guests can race in Open Race sessions. It's the most flexible format, drivers can make their own races, race at their leisure or race as much as possible. Towards the end, the 8 fastest drivers will race in a fast paced Final Race while others cheer them on.
Grand Prix
This format is well suited for highly competitive groups; it's the most aggressive race with one winner at the end of the event. Designed for groups with minimum of 20 drivers. The Grand Prix is a perfect choice as everyone competes and has a chance to get into the Final Race. Drivers participate in practice laps and heat races with up to 10 drivers at a time. Then the 10 fastest drivers compete in a Final Race, with the top three racers being honored in a podium ceremony. Drivers can keep their timing sheets so they'll know who to beat at the next event.
LeMans Race
This is the ultimate team building experience. It's a fast paced excitement for companies, friends & social groups. This is a race where everyone plays an important role. Groups are divided into teams (minimum of 2, maximum 4 people per team) and assigned one kart for the entire race. Following the safety meeting, each driver will race in a practice session, then it's time for the team strategy meeting. To start the race, the karts are lined up at the starting grid as one team member from each team waits for the green flag to drop. Teams have pit stops to change drivers, ensuring all team members have the opportunity to drive. The goal is to complete the most laps in the allotted time. Your group will experience the challenge of pushing themselves to the limit and learn the value of team work.
The Complete Event: Experience the complete event package which includes:
- Exclusive use of our conference center.
- Company logo T-shirts, trophies, professional photography available with sufficient notice.
- Fine refreshments, snacks, catering, hot and cold beverages.
- All day pit pass, use of helmets, neck braces, and balaclavas.
- A thorough safety briefing with a question and answer session (to ease any doubts).
- Exclusive use of the track along with event team to assist you while at Alamo Karts.
- Computerized timing and scoring results.
- Podium awards ceremony.
- A victory lap.
Note: All drivers must have a valid drivers license and be at least 12 years old. Drivers over 18 years old will need to read and sign a waiver, drivers under the age of 18 must have a parent sign a parental consent form while at the track.
Corporate Challenge
If just once in a while is not enough for you, the Corporate Challenge will fulfill the void. You can challenge colleagues, competitors, franchises, or branches with a four race Corporate Challenge. This event races one night a month for four months. We'll even put your logo on the kart you'll use for the duration of the challenge.
