Alamo Power Sports, home to Alamo BMW - Triumph Motorcycles, Alamo Sports Cars and Alamo Karts, is nestled within the Texas Hill Country along IH-10 West going towards Boerne, not too far from the 1604 and IH-10 interchange. It is about six miles from the Rim and La Cantera shopping centers in northwest San Antonio.
It makes for a great place for motorcyclists looking for an early meeting place on a Saturday morning tour of the Hill Country or The Alamo Karts is a great “drop-off” place for husbands to go when their wives are shopping at the Rim or La Canter.
Alamo Power Sports has the only permanent go kart track in San Antonio. The state-of-the-art 1/3 mile track resides in a park like setting. Great place to have fun day or night, (track is well lit at night). It is the ultimate exhilarating driving test of anyone’s skills aged 12 and older. The go-karts are the latest Alpha model by Rimo, a German manufacturer. It is a treat for anyone who wants to enjoy some Hill Country ambience and get away from the daily routine – even if it is just for a couple of hours. It is a great way to unwind, relax and have some a down-right good time! A technician from the United Kingdom installed the ROC Timing system to ensure all drivers get their lap times all the way down to one-tenth of a second.
Another Alamo Karts feature is the conference room that accompanies the track. It can be rented for private events and parties. Its large windows face track, making it perfect for business meetings with comfortable furniture and electronic equipment. When guests need to be energized they can step outside for a quick race around the track.
